The restaurant, named after Arif’s middle name, which means "trustworthy" in South Asian culture, offers a variety of dishes that reflect the rich culinary traditions of the region. With both takeaway and sit-in dining options, it's set to become a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
Arif shares, “My family has been in the restaurant business in this area for many years. My dad started teaching me when I was 14. Despite doing well in school and earning many GCSEs, I wasn’t sure what career path to take. I tried several jobs, including being a barber and working in care, but none felt right. All the while, my dad continued to impart his skills to me. I transformed from a quiet teenager into a confident, friendly front-of-house person. When he decided to open a new branch in Wakefield and asked me to manage it, I was awestruck but delighted.”
